The “Definitions of algorithms: Computer Science & Law” seminar aims at fostering the comparison between the legal and computer science traditions of definitions of algorithms & programs.
Its Mond. Feb. 14th 2022 session will be dedicated to the definition of AI. ML Professor Robert C. Williamson (Tübingen) will represent Computer Science, and Aurore Hyde (Rouen, Paris 1) will represent the Law.
The seminar is co-organised by Maël Pégny (Carl Friedrich von Weiszäcker Zentrum, Tübingen) and Alberto Naibo & Célia Zolynski (Philosophy, Law, Paris 1). Its physical session takes place at the IHPST (13, rue du Four. 75006. Paris. Métro Mabillon), but it also takes place online (the link will be provided in due time on the Carl Friedrich von Weiszäcker Zentrum webpage) and the sessions will be recorded.
